Wicked Good Writing Contest

Calling all ghosts and ghouls!  Do you like to write?

Then creep your way into our Wicked Good Writing Contest!

The Youth Services Department challenges all warlocks, vampires, ghosts, and children to write a two-sentence, scary (or not so scary) story.

That's right, only TWO SENTENCES!

Here are a couple examples:

The cutest dog I'd ever seen ran up to greet me.  When it opened its' mouth, tentacles sprang out and reached for my face!

AND

It was finally summer vacation and I was super excited.  Then I found out I had to go to summer school!

Entries will be accepted online and at the YS Desk between October 9th and October 29th.

All entries will be  displayed next to the magnet wall on the 2nd floor and winners will be chosen from these groups; grades K-2, 3/4, 5/6, 7/8. 

Each winner will receive a prize and have their story displayed at the YS Desk and online. 

Winners will be announced on Halloween!
