Computers & WiFi
Computers
We have computers available for public use on the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th floors.
- Computers on the 2nd floor are available for kids through 8th grade.
- Computers on the 3rd floor in The Commons are available for teens 7th through 12th grade.
The Computer Help Desk is staffed during all open hours to help you with computer-related questions. The Computer Help Desk helps with library computers and library software only. They cannot troubleshoot or provide training on your personal device.
- All computers are equipped with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Chrome, Firefox and Edge. Adobe Reader, 7 Zip software & Zoom are also installed on these PCs. Patrons also have access to printers.
- All computers are also equipped with a screen magnifier and text-to-speech reader.
Laptops
Laptops are available for teens & adults to check out on the 3rd and 4th floors with a library card & valid ID. These are for Library use only.
Wi-Fi
Wireless Internet access is available through the library. DPPL Wi-Fi coverage extends throughout the plaza to the north, east and west of the building, and in most areas of the parking garage as well.
If you are bringing your own device to use in the library, please be aware that we:
- Cannot guarantee consistent speeds, quality of connection, or access.
- Cannot troubleshoot your device or connection.
- Are not responsible for damage, theft, or loss of any kind.
- Expect that you will protect your own privacy and security while online and not do anything illegal or against library policies.
