Hey, Kiddos! It's time for a new edition of DIY with DPPL!

Starting on Saturday, July 30th, stop by the Youth Services desk on the second floor of DPPL to pick up a kit (while supplies last!).

This time, you'll learn how to make your very own hovercraft!

Then use the materials to do the project we show you step-by-step in the video. 

Explore the many programs, events, craft kits and other special offerings for Adults, Teens and Kids at the library this month.

Today at Move and Groove we took the time at Bluett Park to notice the wonder of nature around us and the magic that we often miss underfoot.

This time, you'll learn how to make your very own ice cream cup!

Then use the materials to do the project we show you step-by-step in the video. 

The children were introduced to Inka culture and some Quechua words when Ms. Stephanie and Ms. Becky read the story Run, Little Chaski by Mariana Llanos and Mariana Ruiz Johnson. 

Kindness was the theme for today's book and the kids had the to opportunity to follow the Inka chalk trail as a chaski (a royal messenger during Inka times), rescuing animals along the way just like the main character of the book.
