Beginning October 27, a pin/password will be required along with your Des Plaines Library card to use Overdrive Libby and Kanopy. This is the same password that you currently use to access your general library account online. If you need to help, please email circdesk@dppl.org or call 847-376-2788.
The library makes a regular podcast called Miner Recs, where we discuss popular books, movies, resources and other trends. You can find our episodes on Podomatic, subscribe on iTunes, orStitcher. Check our blogfor information on new episodes.
We produced our first episode in January 2016 and have been making one or two episodes a month since then. Here's a sample of some of the films, music, and books we have covered.
Hosts and Production
Our show hosts are Charlie Crane and Joel Sawyer. They welcome different members of the library staff each month to dicsuss high interest pop culture topics.

In March 2019 we changed our name from the Pint & Click Podcast to Miner Recs.
