Administrative Coordinator

If you answered “yes” to these questions, then the full-time, non-exempt position of Administrative Coordinator at the Des Plaines Public Library is for you!
DUTIES:
- Understands and carries out the Library’s policies and procedures.
- Provides clerical and organizational support for library administration.
- Serves as receptionist for public and staff.
- Serves as a FOIA Officer.
- Maintains library records.
- Assists with the administrative tasks associated with Library bids and requests for proposal.
- Monitors and maintains appropriate inventory levels of administrative office supplies.
- Prepares correspondence, reports, documents, and memos.
- Collects copier and debit card dispenser money.
- Coordinates all aspects of All-Staff meetings and makes travel arrangements to library conferences for staff.
- Assists in the preparation of the monthly Board of Trustees packet, and other Board-related administrative tasks.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum qualifications
- Two years of college.
- Five years of office experience.
- Available to work occasional evenings and weekends.
Hours
SCHEDULE: Monday – Friday 9:00 am – 5:00 pm, 37.5 hours per week
Salary
ANNUAL SALARY RANGE $41,925 - $60,450 DOQ
