TEACHER BOOKBAGS

Available to teachers in Des Plaines schools:

Request a teacher bookbag to support your curriculum or projects. Our staff will select up to 25 books to meet your needs. (Nonfiction videos and DVDs are also available by special arrangement.)

• Use your school or personal library card.
• Materials may be borrowed for four weeks. (Extended loans available by request.)
• Due to changes in van delivery services previously provided by NSLS, we will no longer be able to request titles from other libraries to supplement the copies we own. If you would like to obtain books for lit circles or classroom sets, please see Classroom Sets for Book Discussions.
• The Mobile Library may deliver your bookbag if it already visits your school.
• Fill out the online Teacher Bookbags Form or phone Youth Services at 847-376-2839.
• Seven days advance notice, please.
