Drop in for help with immigration, visas, Social Security and
Medicare
A staffperson from Representative Jan Schakowsky’s office will
come to the library the third Wednesday of every month from
5:00-7:00 p.m. to assist people with questions on immigration,
visas, veterans’ benefits and basic questions on Social Security
and Medicare. Her name is Ann Limjoco. No sign-up is required.

A number of databases, including eLibrary, First Search, and
Proquest Newspapers have interfaces and some content in other
languages.
Downloadable Audiobooks for English Language Learners
Our collection of audiobooks from NetLibrary
includes the popular Pimsleur series for learning English. These
audiobooks may be downloaded to your home
computer and transferred to a portable listening device. Users
must first set up an account on a computer at the library. For
