A variety of outreach activities brings the library to the residents of Des Plaines. The
Mobile Library visits schools, parks, and other locations in
neighborhoods throughout the city. Other outreach activities include
our homebound delivery program and deposit collections at local
nursing homes. We also provide assistive technology machines that
make reading or enjoying books easier for sight- and
hearing-impaired residents.
