Volunteer - You Can Make a Difference!

Volunteers are vital to the library. By giving their time on a regular basis, volunteers allow staff members more time to fulfill their professional duties. The Des Plaines Public Library offers a variety of volunteer opportunities. The opportunities range from skilled computer work to picking up toys in Youth Services. Flexible assignments and time commitments are available. Sixth, seventh and eighth graders can volunteer in our Youth Services Department.
