Your contribution can fund many valuable library resources for
the people of Des Plaines to enjoy.

Your donation can be a special way to honor or remember a loved
one, or to celebrate a special event. |

Your gift is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. Your
contribution will go into the Des Plaines Public Library Fund.
There are several ways to donate:
- By Mail - Print out and mail the
form to the Des Plaines Public Library.
- Buy a brick for
Library Plaza
Note: Inscribed bricks are installed on Library Plaza once a year.
- Honor or remember a loved one.
- Celebrate a special event.
- Spotlight your business or organization.
- Inscribe the brick with
- names
- dates
- quotes
- company's logo
- Print out and mail the
completed form.
- Locate a brick on Library
Plaza by inscription
- Buy an historic souvenir brick
- Bricks are from the old Des Plaines Public Library building at
841 Graceland Avenue.
- On sale at the main library at 1501 Ellinwood Street.
- A small plate engraved with the dates 1957-2000 and an image
of the clock tower from the old building is mounted on each
brick.
- Purchase price is $15 for the first brick and $10 for each
additional brick purchased at the same time.
- Payment is with cash or by check at the time of purchase.

The following methods
should be discussed with your attorney or financial advisor:
- Bequest - Make the Des Plaines Public Library Fund the
recipient of part or all of your estate.
- Insurance - Designate the Des Plaines Public Library Fund as
the beneficiary of a life insurance policy.
- Stocks, mutual funds and IRA funds
- The library has opened a brokerage account so interested
persons may make charitable contributions of appreciated or
depreciated stocks, mutual funds or IRA funds. By making these
donations, you may receive tax advantages.
