Having a hard time finding that favorite poem? Do
you remember a line or phrase, but can’t remember the title,
author, or even collection you found it in? Try PoemFinder,
an online database available at the library.
PoemFinder has information about over 800,000 poems, including the complete
text of over 85,000 poems. Poet biographies, poem explanations, a collection of the year’s best

available. Poems are searchable by title, poet, words in the first
and last line, and subject. For more information, please call
Reference Services at 847-376-2841.
