Public Computer Use Guidelines

1. You will need a library card from an Illinois public library to sign up for a computer.
   
2. You must sign up for a computer in person at the Reference Desk. computer signup station.
   
3. Computers are available for one-hour sessions.
   
4. You are guaranteed one one-hour session per day; additional time may be granted depending upon availability.
   
5. Documents may be printed at a cost of $0.10 per page, using a debit card; or, they may be saved to a disk. You may bring your own disks, or you may buy them from the Reference Desk for $1.00 each.
   
6. No programs or documents may be saved on the hard drive. The computers are periodically reformatted and all files are deleted.
   
7. Exceptions to these guidelines may be made at the discretion of the library staff.
