Is Agatha Christie writing again? You would think so to read this British cozy mystery. Sir Adrian Beauclerk-Fisk is the popular author of a cozy mystery series featuring a Miss Marple clone named Miss Rampling. In between writing chapters in his books Sir Adrian loves changing his will to torment his four adult children. All are summoned to the English countryside manor to meet Sir Adrian's new wife-to-be and of course, as all mystery fans know, someone in the family must die. The investigating inspector eventually brings all of the suspects together to announce the murderer, just like Hercule Poirot often does in Dame Agatha's mysteries.

Humor, red herrings, and a few unlikeable characters make this a very enjoyable cozy.

1st in the Inspector St. Just mystery series.
