April is Autism Awareness Month -
Join us For Special Library Programs
The Des Plaines Public Library is hosting a wide variety of events this spring to promote awareness of autism as well as to provide information and support for families and caregivers of people on the autism spectrum. Click on the events below for more information and to register. This program is presented as part of the "Special Families Need Special Libraries" grant. Funding for this grant was awarded by the Illinois State Library (ISL), a Division of the Office of Secretary of State, using funds provided by the Institute of Museum and Library Services (IMLS), under the federal Library Services and Technology Act (LSTA).
